I have attended a lot of the instances of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, FL. My first in 2005 when I was just 18 years old:
I took 12 years off from attending for various reasons. Ben and I last attended in 2012 so it’s been 12 years since I’ve attended. Prices continued to increase and then a pandemic happened which put 2 years on hold and when Ultra resumed in 2023, Ben and I bought tickets for 1 year out and last week, we met up in South Carolina and carpooled down to Miami for our first EDM festival in 12 years.
We had such a great time that we each purchased tickets for next year as well. I don’t think I’ll attend this festival beyond 2025 though. That’s the 25th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival and the 20th anniversary of my first time attending. I’ll have attended roughly 7 or 8 out of 25 years and that’s pretty good. Maybe I’ll go again in 10 years when I turn 50. That’ll be something :)
