Like 2022’s GS Trophy Qualifier, this event is an opportunity for USA based amateur riders to make the top 3 for their gender and earn a spot on Team USA representing their country on the global stage in BMW’s global off-road competition. It’s only open to non-pros, non-trainers and non-BMW-employees. You have to be a customer (own a BMW GS) and not be a professional rider. Recovering from both rotator cuff and ankle bone spur surgery still, I visited the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC this September to watch the competition and of course, snap a few photos.
