Four weeks ago, the guy who bought my last car, the car that now I really miss a lot messaged me that the car was going to be sold. He had it for about a year and now I’ll likely lose track of it as I highly doubt that next owner is going to find me and reach out. Here’s my last exchange with Bryan:

Bryan (MK6R): Yea I love the car. I just feel guilty haha. Like I rushed into taking out a big car payment. I would prob try and sell it for 25k if I kept the mods on it. If I part it out prob 22-23k. Dealership already offered to cut me a check for it for a min of 22k haha 9:54 PM
Me: 22 is a good start. 25 would be ideal. I understand the high payments for sure. I hate how expensive the car is then I go for a drive and forget until I have to put gas in. Lol. Sell mods and sell for 23.5 might be a good win. 9:55 PM

Bryan (MK6R): Yea thats kind of what Im aiming for and I know, the car is fast as hell now. And in such good shape. If I already had a house I wouldnt care. So, in an effort to help Bryan out, you can find my car for sale at Colonial Volkswagen in Medford. I am pretty sure I was paid $25K for my trade-in, it sold for around 29 and it looks like with 15K more miles on it, it’s now for sale for 25K. 64K Miles isn’t a lot for a 2 Liter turbo but keep it in mind it is an FSI which will mean some higher maintenance costs when you pass 100K.

It is insanely clean. I had it detailed twice a year and hand-washed it myself. It was unfortunately not garage kept, but good detailing can keep a car looking brand-new for a long time.

In closing, now that I’m shopping for a Winter car and looking at used Golf Rs, I actually wish I had just kept this car instead of selling it. I only made 3 grand by selling it. Oh well.
