While in Chicago at Rare Day, I spoke to a few Goose Island employees who had no sympathy to my sob-story that I’ve had 4 kegs of Bourbon County Stout (3 regular and 1 coffee) over the last 3 years and didn’t have a proper tap handle since distributors wouldn’t sell them to me. As I wiped a few tears from my beard covered cheeks and told them I had found a Sophie tap handle and was looking for an oval Bourbon County sticker, they each told me it would be hard to find a sticker since Goose has moved over to new more easier tap handles and abandoned the old design.
Finally, I found a guy who asked me to email him my address and he’d try to find something for me. On Black Friday, a letter arrived from Chicago with a single sticker enclosed so now my current and remaining BCS kegs will be properly poured from a Goose tap handle with the #ProperSticker. Thanks Goose Island! You guys rock.
