Bloggers.

Over the weekend, a few bloggers I read put out some real material. It was really refreshing to catch some consciousness versus anything polished and I’m not saying these two are only polish but it was just honest-to-goodness personal blogging. I’m realizing that I don’t follow a lot of bloggers anymore. I follow blogs but real personal journaling isn’t something I see much anymore. Maybe put differently, there’s blogging and then there’s sharing personal things about ourselves online. So maybe it’s I don’t follow anyone that’s being personal?

I am personal on this blog and sometimes I say too much but often times, I say nothing at all. I really want to fix that because I don’t need to prove myself professionally anymore. I have accomplished most of what I intended to and want to maintain and grow where I am so my blog doesn’t need to be a resume or generate leads. I also don’t have a big following so there’s no harm in just posting a random photo versus these polished thought out posts.

I also want to seek out some new personal blogs and drop a few tech blogs that are mostly duplicative of other places. I know a new iPad mini came out today. Do I need 15 stories about it?
