This was a fantastic read. I am trying to strike a balance on this blog. It’s sort of where everyone on Twitter spends all day talking about Twitter and it stops becoming fun. When all of the last remaining bloggers decide to talk about blogging and how important it is, things get really boring. It’s fine to be meta sometimes but I try not to bore my readers. Andy is merely saying what we already know. Owning your voice and controlling the narrative completely w/o ads, censorship, etc is a powerful thing.
