Technically, this is a Kickstarter for Foldio2. I saw a very low cost LCD light box that’s also portable for a great price. I ended up going with 3 LED light strips and it has a dimmer although I really don’t intend on lowering the brightness. The light box also has 4 different backdrop colors. I’ve never used one of these before and, since my Olympus is out of commission for at least the next 4 weeks, I’m using a Canon S120 backup camera which really won’t do this fun new toy any favors.
I did snap a few photos last night using the iPhone that came out pretty well. Given every smartphone’s weakness for low-light images, it allowed for some pretty good details. Below are the S120 images.
