Let’s just state this again: for many others and for me, it is $50 cheaper to break the AT&T contract and switch to another carrier.
Yeah, I’m seeing the same thing and a lot of friends are doing just that. Luckily, I have other means of getting iPhones for $199 after only 1 month on the contract. I’ll never tell though.
