★ MG Siegler, Paull Carr and Michael Arrington…all a part of CrunchFund

MG Siegler:

Enough with burying the lede: yes, I’m becoming a VC. I couldn’t be happier to announce that I’m joining CrunchFund as a general partner. It’s my honor to join Mikeand Pat in that role. And I thank them for the opportunity.

So Arrington leaves TechCrunch to start CrunchFund and gets investment from AOL among others and then invests in Paul Carr who recently left TechCrunch as the “off the wall holds nothing back” writer and moves to Vegas and now, MG has left TechCrunch (aside from the occasional Apple commentary) to join as a partner of CrunchFund.

There are great writers left at TechCrunch but there aren’t enough to keep me as a reader. The only writer left who I absolutely love is Sarah Lacy. 75% of what I loved about TC is gone so I’m unsubscribing from their RSS feed. Good luck to all who followed Mike to the next venture. I subscribe to Mike’s, Paul’s and MG’s personal blogs and I suggest you do the same. Great analysis and great reporting and the voice is just real and unpolished. The content is polished but the voice and style is quality and keeps me very engaged.
