October 26th, 2007, Mac OS X 10.5 shipped and Apple wasn’t doing a launch event at our nearest store so I went to CompUSA instead with my girlfriend. These photos were promoted thanks to Photos for Mac’s “memories” feature and was cool to see I was wearing my FastMac shirt commemorating the day (I still have the shirt) and that CompUSA, despite holding an event, I was the only person in line for this release (lol).
Also interesting, all photos were taken with the iPhone original so the quality isn’t that great. My GF and I both had iPhones at launch so these photographs are hers including copyright.
