I blame an uneducated consumer who doesn’t fight back when developers abuse the change-notes. Fuelly has introduced advertisements and a $4.99 a year subscription model. Their last app update:
“fixed minor bugs”

The minor bug was that this application was being sunset in February and I had to download Fuelly’s official app which has advertisements. Completely unacceptable. Here’s their blog post about the change – http://www.fuelly.com/iosapps/

We need to hold developers to their word. I trust bug-fixes need to happen but when you issue a bug fix which is an entirely new subscription model, shame.
