via Buzzfeed: (ugh, I hate linking to this shit-hole of a website)
Why is that Adam? The author, Mr. Warzel who interviewed Gabe called his story “Meet the Man who Shapes Tech’s Narrative” (look at the article link, perma-links don’t lie) which is accurate in a way. It’s a bit of a stretch. Gabe doesn’t work alone and his site is mostly powered by a well done algorithm but sure, okay fine :) Some jackass at Buzzfeed decided to instead call the post, “Meet The Man Whose Site Mark Zuckerberg Reads Every Day” That’s way more sticky for clicks on social networks. Sigh.
Where did BuzzFeed’s editors get the idea that Mark reads the site every day? This quote from the story:
Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai are both confessed readers, as are LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner, former PayPal exec and current Facebook Messenger head David Marcus, former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella.
Mark’s name is a hyperlink and links here to another cesspool, Business Insider which is a stupid slide show luckily viewable as one page if you can find the link. From that listicle, “We were unaware Zuck shared our Techmeme obsession. It’s the only publications he ‘likes’ besides the New York Times. Nice work, Gabe Rivera.”
That statement on Business Insider has no attribution so the paper-trail ends right there. For all I know, it’s made up bullshit but thanks to Buzzfeed, this hearsay is now fact to most people who don’t care to dig deeper.

That’s a Hell of a digression by yours truly but I actually linked to this interview because it was a great interview but once I realized this was a Buzzfeed article (unknown to me as I read everything within Instapaper and save things that recommended for me by people I trust).
Either way, this is a great article about a human aggregation service of the news that matters to us. I Love TechMeme and stop in once a month just to get a feel for what’s happening in technology.
