Kevin Diepenbrock survived the crash and the hours-long wait for help.
Kevin spend 30 hours off a ravine at Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee. I’ve driven the dragon and my plans to ride it in November were squashed by major forest fires in the area but I plan on riding it in March. He’s lucky to be alive because at the R32 / Golf R meetup in April before we all hit the dragon, the local county EMS group told us that in most cases, if you fly off the side, no one knows and you die down there. Keep an eye on cars in front of and behind you because you might go around a hairpin turn and not see them anymore and if that’s the case, they crashed. There’s no cell-service up there but it’s a blast to drive.
