“I bought 140$+ worth of content just this year… I don’t want a refund, I want to be able to continue to use what I PAID for !!!!!!!!!!!” Xbox Live user QuickSilver wrote.
“My worst fears about buying into digital or cloud-dependent content are realized,” user chH4MMER added. “Basically the message is: if you buy something on the cloud, plan on having it taken away from you before you’re done with it, and don’t expect a refund.”
I get laughed at for screen-shoting recipes I find and storing YouTube videos offline that I want to watch again some day. Please remember that everything you paid for that’s stored on someone’s cloud will eventually go away. Maybe not for 100 years but if you think you’re going to be able to download the Pink album from Apple that you paid $9.99 for in 2004 20 years from now, you have another thing coming.
Store your things offline.
