As you may have noticed, yesterday there was a post here where I shared some video of the off-site beer cellar I keep about 25 miles or so away from my place. That video and photos were actually recorded in May. I just forgot to post them here.
I was actually back in the cellar on Saturday (August 6th) and the wet-Summer led to a few boxes falling over. Only one bottle broke, a 2014 Cantillon Blåbær. I shot a video.
Luckily, I’m in the final stages of closing on a house w/ a proper beer cellar and I can finally move all of these back on-site and keep them in proper shelves w/o this sort of thing happening. I only stop by the other cellar periodically so no clue when this happened:
PS: While I was at the cellar, I grabbed some Champagne for my 30th Birthday week in Bermuda and 2 cases of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout that were eligible for a refund. If any of my readers haven’t submitted their refund now, you should do that ASAP!
Here’s what I grabbed for Bermuda:
- Tarlant “Cuvée Louis” Brut Champagne (Magnum – 1.5L)
- Dom Perignon 2004 (75CL)
- Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 1998 (75CL)
