Bomber, acquired in a trade
A – Dense, thick, pitch black, small coffee colored head.
S – Smells nice! Sweet, peppery, licorice, vanilla, cocoa and sugar.
T – Loads of vanilla here…like a ton. barrel character is good, an ashy smoked undertone under the vanilla and faded coconut.
M – The mouthfeel is thin at first and it does coat the tongue but flees quickly.
O – I think this is a might fine beer. I will say maybe more vanilla a year ago. I do notice that the bottle says “drink fresh” so it’s no surprise this is a changed beer. Still wonderful.
