A – Black as night but with a slight amber color right at the edge. 1 finger head that faded quickly. seems light on the carb
S – Smells great. it’s night and day different from the bourbon version. Aroma is a bit sweeter, lighter on the booze, cocoa and coffee bean.
T – mmm this is nice. you certainly get a lot of rum here. it almost coats the tongue and lingers for a very long time. cocoa is pretty intense and booze is up to 11. you taste every percent of the 10% ale. lingering sugar cane. up front, espresso bean but fleets fast
M – Thin, oily, not a lot of cab here
O – Very good. I think I prefer the bourbon version slightly.
