“The magic of ordering pizza without lifting a finger and just using your voice is now a reality with Alexa and Domino’s,” said Rob Pulciani, director, Amazon Alexa. “We’ve made it easy for companies like Domino’s to use the Alexa Skills Kit to create more natural, intuitive ways for customers to interact with their services.”
It sounds really cool but what if there’s not a Domino’s Pizza anywhere near me? Does Alexa just freak out and enter some “Danger Will Robinson” mode and forever repeat “error” over and over? I wonder if the hyper-connected city dwellers that created Alexa accounted for people who have a pizza joint over 50 miles from their house.
