Bomber from Tom1 enjoyed at cellar temp with the QC tasting group
A – Pours a black with an almost brown reddish appearance against the light. Not pitch black.
S – There are the expected aromas here. Malted barley, roasted coffee, chocolate, vanilla and coffee…duh. More of a cold brew aroma than Espresso.
T – The mouthfeel is very thin, bitter with a distinct shoe polish finish like some medicinal tar stuff. WTH? Up front, you do get coffee, smoke, barrel and a little bit of vanilla then it turns into this acetone booze bomb like an unpolished black tuesday grain alcohol taste.
M – Thin, fleeting, bitter
O – this doesn’t taste like anything like parabola. Hope this wasn’t a faked bottle for the trade?
