375ML enjoyed at Hill Farmstead and I picked up some bottles to take home and sit on for a while. This was just around fridge temp in HF stemware and allowed to warm.

A – Hazy bright golden yellow with a 2 finger white head. Beautiful beer.

S – Smells like a Brett petite sour base from crooked stave with a juicy sour citrus aroma and herbal woody notes.

T – Taste is tart, velvety and sour with a black tea taste, woody and cherry and peach. On a vigorous swish, there’s chamomile and a little peppermint. I don’t get candy but I’ve also never had a beer with candy in it.

M – Unique but the body and finish is quite thin.

O – Another pretty successful experiment. I’d say even half an hour later, I’m still getting tart sour taste in my mouth. It certainly lingers and maybe the candy will become more pronounced or subdued with time. It’ll be interesting to see how it’s tasting in 6 months.
