75CL from Ehammond split 3 ways. Bottled February, 2014.

A – Pours black, crimson red with brown edges. a single finger tan head.

S – Aroma is raisin, toffee, and a lot of vanilla. A light sweetness and just a little bit of booze. Smell is weak but really nice.

T – Holy crap. There is so much vanilla! it’s delicious. Raisins, toffee for sure with cinnamon, some candy bar like chocolate and nougat and the bourbon is at the finish. Really exceptional taste.

M – Creamy and thick mouthfeel. boozy, oily, sweet

O – I’m thoroughly impressed. This is probably the best scotch ale I’ve ever had. Just phenomenal
