I’ll try to write more about Champagne in the coming months but one thing is for certain, I’ll be returning here next year possibly twice as I take on exploring all 12 Grand Cru villages of the Champagne Region. This trip, I spent half a day each in Reims and Epernay followed by a full day on foot in Cramant. In Cramant, I was only able to visit 8 of the 20+ wineries and it was really an amazing time. There wasn’t enough time to visit them all but the diversity of wine even in the same village with caring people, very good prices and close proximity to Belgium made this a very cost effective trip and well worth every dollar spent.
There’s also not enough layman’s articles about visiting Champagne so I’ll try to transfer what I learned to this blog as I find the time. For now, here are a few of my favorite photos:
