What you see here is the “Ambient Weather WS-10 Wireless Indoor/Outdoor 8-Channel Thermo-Hygrometer with Three Remote Sensors” that just arrived via Amazon. I can control the temperature in my basement but I can only do so if I know the current temp. #1 is my bedroom and 2/3 are the 2 basement zones. 3 being the insulated Lambic room and the other being general area where the furnaces, washer/dryer are located.
It beeps at me if the temp gets above 70 or below 35 and I can intervene. Works pretty well so far. Highly recommended if you suffer from seasonal temperature changes. The 3 sensors that come with it have a 150 foot range line of sight so a floor below me isn’t an issue. I haven’t had any issues with the sensors not updating the main unit.
