AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A – It’s a slight golden color. small head but nothing substantial although it did have a nice cork pop.
S – The nose is nice. A bit sweet, a lot of peach, white grape, grape skin, oak and a brett funk. I get some sour candies on the nose and some blue cheese.
T – Taste is actually pretty nice. Very juicy, nice freshness and a puckering finish. The sour is a bit too much for me but it does have a 1 year Lambic + fresh peach taste iwhich is really nice. Almost no bitterness. Aside from the warhead sour candy taste, there’s a lot of positive aspects to this.
M – Thin, pretty oily, slight carbonation on the swish.
O – Decent sour ale, still too sour for my liking but the peach is a nice redeeming taste.
