AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Blend-2. Enjoyed @ 40F in a snifter split 2 ways @ home. Thanks to my buddy in texas who keeps bringing these sours to me in exchange for VT bottles I have sitting around.
A – This is a light yellow to gold color, fizzy head that faded fast, just a little bit of cloudiness.
S – Pear, apple and a lot of sulphur / rotten egg aroma.
T – Taste is very sour. Pretty intense. Sulphur, apricot at the middle and finish. Very acidic, sour candies, lemon and yeasty finish.
M – Thin mouthfeel, like 7-up or sprite or maybe seltzer water
O – man, these thin very acidic american wild ales are really wearing on me.I need to just drink Lambic pretty much as all I drink. This is just way too tart.
