★ Review: Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus

I thought this would be a fun one to throw in for this week. Technically classified as a Witbier, it does contain Lambic of some sort but there are very few details. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. It’s something I’ll grab again if I see it on shelves.

3.6

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20

Best by 9/30/2015, Enjoyed in a Gueuze tumbler at cellar temp. Dark yellow appearance, creamy frothy head. very sticky 2 fingers. Lemon with sulphur and hard boiled eggs on the nose. Taste is sweet black tea, lemonade and table sugar. Some spicy clove at the finish. Overall, this is actually pretty good but not great.
