No vintage stated on this one. Opened it tonight for our weekly Wine Wednesday with the neighbors. I usually open a Champagne every 2 weeks and this one really stood out enough that I wanted to take some notes.

Very light yellow, lots of chardonnay colors, The nose is pretty odd. Buttery, some popcorn, butterscotch, cleaning products and sweet fresh cut pears. I also get straw and hay on the nose. The taste is really nice. Delicate and very fruit forward. Sweet pears, green apple, honey, floral hints at the end. I get brown sugar and pineapple as well. Really nice taste composition. Shame the nose isn’t as good.
Overall, I’d get this a 3.9. It’s great but the nose really detracts and makes this not very good. Even after a few hours of sitting, the nose is still too much.
