Bottle from a trade. Split 4 ways at fridge temp in stemware.
A – Looks like most other blueberry beers. has that nice purple red color, mild head that faded fast.
S – Smells very raw like hand picked blueberries with a lot of oak, bark, sort of a musty earthy aroma. mild sweetness with a hard whiskey nose.
T – Well, it’s tannic, oaky, certainly has the standard american wild pucker up characteristics. Blueberry is faint but that’s to be expected with any blueberry beer.
M – nice sweetness, dry finish.
O – For an american wild aged in bourbon with blueberries, I like this more than expected. couldn’t down a bottle though or finish a glass. Still nice to try.
