Picked this up yesterday @ Hill Farmstead. $10 a 750ML bottle. Enjoyed 2 ways at 42F in Hill Farmstead Stemware.
A – Pours a dark gold, slightly hazy. Starts with a 3 finger head but fades to a small thin white ring, tons of glass lacing.
S – This smells fantastic. nose is juicy citrus, herbal brett and chamomile.
T – Taste is super interesting. I get aloe, chamomille, funky brett (which should improve with time), there’s a ropey ness to this, minor peppers and a lot of orange peel. Funky, crisp. Wish the finish was a little juicier but that’s just personal preference.
M – Very dry, crisp and pretty.
O – This is a good beer, I bet it will improve greatly over time!
