Bottle picked up last week. Just couldn’t wait to enjoy this beer!A – Poured a pitch black oily chocolate texture, 2 finger chocolate head fades to a small thin line. This beer coats the glass so very well!
S – Nose is loaded. Licorice, chocolate, maple syrup, rice krispy treats and sweet candies.
T – Wowzerz. This is a heavy, thick, chocolate explosion. A touch of some fruity qualities like cherry or raspberry. Heavy creamy chocolate. No coffee or espresso at all. The maple is not at all overwhelming. The thole thing just melds together.
M – Velvety smooth mouthfeel, sweet and tongue coating oil.
O – Wheat imperial stouts are where it’s at.
