Thanks for my Danish partner for sending this over. Batch 1 wax. Split with AirForceHops.A – Not as black as I thought but pretty oily…1 finger creamy head fades fast to a thin lacing.S – Cocoa, roasted graham crackers, marshmallow and a big powerful pepper aroma.
T – Starts with a burst of sweet vanilla, cocoa, milk chocolate and finishes with this huge spice that sticks around forever and ever. I mean it is a very spicy beer..lingering spice for days.
M – Oily, slick, medium body
O – Decently good imperial stout. not much residual sweetness, coffee has faded (batch 1 is like a year old now?) but still really good.
If you have any more bottles, send them my way. I’ll find those missing 5 points and jot em down!
Oddly enough, this beer came to me as an extra in a trade with Denmark. The guy said bomb hit their shelves and he picked up a few bottles. I don’t think I’ll be getting more of these.
