Bottle shared with Leighton. Enjoyed at 55F in stemware.A – Cloudy yellow appearance. Nice lacing and a thin head. Slight gusher but we caught it!
S – Lots of lemon grassiness on the nose. Melons and acetic smells as well.
T – Nice overall. Starts with soured wheat notes and rustic funk. Hint if lemons and pineapples. Pretty citrusy and finish is butterscotch and there are some oak undertones. Nothing crazy
M – Medium mouthfeel, sticks around in the tartness for a while with lemon zest.
O – I enjoyed this one but nothing that I’d seek out again.
Why does the beer portion of your blog play audio from a South Park episode?
It was this post – http://adam-jackson.net/beer/videos-collect-em-all/
I had it set to auto-play on accident. Make the video require you click through to the blog post page to see the video so it shouldn’t auto-play again.
What were bottles of this going for in your area? They were quite pricey in Buffalo.
Not sure because these were sent to me from someone near the brewery. I did a for trade of some extra Lawson’s IPAs 6+ months ago and someone said they’d send me some sour beers in return.
