1 Litre Growler filled 6 days ago enjoyed at home in New Hampshire in a Hill Farmstead Becher Glass.
A – Incredibly hazy lemoncello appearance. Looks like a lemon liquor with a hint of gold. Minimal 1 finger had that fades fast to a small big of lacing.
S – The nose is ruby red grapefruit and more citrus I can’t quite identify. It has some resinous aspects but overall, the bright, sweet and acidic grapefruit juice nose.
T – Almost no maltiness and perhaps half of the bitterness I expected from the nose. Up front, I get mango and peaches and the finish is an acidic almost tangy grapefruit juice taste.
M – Thin body, no sugar sweetness, just citrus sweetness. Not sticky nor does it stick around for a long time.
O – this is a damn good IPA. I could drink this on tap every few days if it was available. Nice and clean, not too bitter or sweet. Really bright and juicy. Excellent job, Jean…it’s one of the very few IPAs my GF will try and ask that I pour her a glass.
