I decided to take another stab at the Saison Brett that turned out drinkable but not where I wanted it to. I also decided to do another Belgian Wit beer as well as a re-brew of the Berliner Weisse I did last year that was such a huge hit that I’m re-doing it but with a different fruit. I don’t know which one yet. A new edition is an APA with 100% Motueka hops and fermented entirely with Brett which is a recipe a guy on RateBeer gave me in the chat room about 6 months ago. I’m going to give it a shot and see how things go.
The next few weeks are pretty busy so I’ll have to get some brew-days in after work to make this work. Another goal is that I actually start washing my own yeast starting with these batches. I only have knowledge from YouTube videos so it’s going to be hit or miss. Next purchases will be a stir-plate and Barley crusher. Wish me luck!
Totally. I’m looking forward to getting it. backordered right now so I should have it in a few weeks.
