A – Pours pitch black but not as oily as I expected. Huge 4 finger leathery head that fades to a finger leaving behind really nice lacing very sticky.S – Nose is very earthy, nutty and roasted. Coffee is there but it’s dominated by a very earthy almost dirt like nose with some oak.

T – Wow. I have no idea how to place this. Super acidic coffee bean texture, lots of muddy earthy and nutty notes with a delicate floral finish. This is simply about the coffee taste. Beyond that, milk chocolate, almonds and some cherries. Very rich and decadent and almost delicate like a mudslide meets shot of espresso. I can’t really describe it but very tasty.

M – Heavy body although a thin and oily finish. Very delicate and sort of remarkable. Leaves a nutty coffee taste around for a long time after drinking.

O – This is a great coffee stout. Probably one of the best coffee stouts I’ve ever had. Is it just Speedway (which has a great base beer) or is it the “shitty” beans they used? I honestly don’t know but wow. Worth seeking out.
