Picked this up for takewaway at Rattle n’ Hum in NYC in July ’12. Enjoyed in a wine glass at 55FA – Poured a very dark amber, appears to be unfiltered and huge head even on a careful pour. Head was white with hints of brown
S – Cherries and Oak with vinegar. Smells like a flanders red
T – Big vinegar bomb, lots of oak and cherries and a hint of peaches. Has a stale..(oxidized?) cardboard taste at the finish.
M – Medium carbonation, medium body
O – I think this beer is past prime. too much cardboard and moldy oak taste.
