Enjoyed this special beer at Kulminator in Belgium. Review from notes.
A – Bright hazy / cloudy gold. It’s a gorgeous fluffy 1 finger white head.
S – Smells of brown sugar, oak and sweet brown sugar. Hint of tropical fruits..apricots, pineapple? There’s a spiciness like pepper as well.
T – Lovely. Fills the mouth with a coy sweetness of light citrus followed by cracked peppercorn. Candied sugar, oatmeal and grape skins. It has a very rich and full finish.
M – Slightly boozy, hint of astringency and bubbly tingle like a sparkling wine.
O – This beer left me wanting to try other vintages of this remarkable creation. Nearly perfect and an insanely fun beer to drink. 12 oz so you don’t want to share it with friends.
