I have no idea what this is. It was an extra..that’s for sure. Nice looking bottle, impossibly hard to find this in RateBeer. Enjoyed at 60F in a tulip.A – Total freaking gusher! I should have saw this crap coming. What a disappointment when you get 12 ounces of beer and it gushes like…that trip from Switzerland was brutal aka..your’e not worthy to try this beer. HUGE 4 finger tan head. Gorgeous lacing, raising purple / brown appearance. Nice clarity.

S – I can smell ripened cherries and plums from a few feet away. On the nose, I don’t get any smokiness at all. There’s this really nice belgian strong ale..sort of La chouffe / Duvel nose on it. I get Ommegang yeast as well. This Belgian weird tart farmhouse character.

T – First off, tart cherries and figs. Followed by an intense liquid smoke, malty oaky sort of chewiness. I hate smoked beers but it’s still mild compared to some smoked beers I’ve had. finish is tart and sour again which is nice.

M – Medium body, high carbonation.

O – This isn’t a bad beer. It’s quite nice..minus the smoke.
