Thanks Long for sharing this. Enjoyed at 55 F in a tulip.A – 3 finger off-white head formed and then faded slowly. left behind some nice lacing. Burnt copper and gold. Looks like fig juice in the glass.

S – Tart Cherries and Cider Vinegar on the nose. This is followed by malty oaky sweetness.

T – Okay. this is very interesting. Tart for just a moment…ripened cherries and peaches but this is immediately followed with a strong tawny porto taste and charred oak, heavy on the cherries, raspberries and grapes. Musky and big burnt brown sugar sweetness and a banana thrown in. Lots of flavors at once but the tawny porto dominates the taste.

M – Medium body, light carbonation and a huge boozy alcohol burn in my chest as I drink.

O – I should have read the description before reviewing this beer. I expected a sour. What I got was a weird combo of all kinds of barrels. What an interesting beer with tons of depth and complexity.
