2011 Vintage, Bottle #360. Enjoyed at cellar temp in a tulip.A – Viscous dark black, 2 finger coffee head that fades to a fine ring.
S – Lots of vanilla and charred oak on the nose. Hint of pine and mangoes. Chocolate and espresso.
T – Lots of oak and chocolate..like baker’s chocolate, dark cocoa, vanilla and figs. Some sort of caramel taste. mild bourbon finish.
M – heavy body, light carbonation. oily and slick.
O – This is not a great stout…the bourbon improves upon it but, compared to even Dark Lord (non BA, it’s not great)
