2011 Vintage 75CL bottle. Enjoyed at home with my girlfriend.A – Mild pop of the cork and the carbonation appears at the pour but quickly settles to appear still. No lacing at all. Cloudy blood orange color. Bronze and gold. Very cloudy.S – Lots of Brett, horse blanket and citrus funk on the nose. Hint of balsamic vinegar.
T – Very sweet citrus. Lemon and Tangerines come to mind. Lots of oak and more sweetness at the finish like a more acidic honeysuckle taste.
M – Light body and almost no carbonation. Doesn’t linger at all.
O – It’s a lot more sour than I thought it would be but not as complex as I had hoped. Drinkable as the base lambic is so delicious but the grapes don’t add much.
