2010 Vintage enjoyed at 60 Degrees F in a Duvel Tulip.A – Dark raisin and plum appearance. No light coming through in the glass but not the black I expected. 2 Finger tan head that fades fast.S – A lot of bourbon on the nose, Figs and maple syrup.
T – Very sweet up front. Middle is dry and sweet fruits. The finish is less sweet with bourbon, vanilla and oak. There’s a hint of cedar and smokiness.
M – Heavy body, minimal carbonation.
O – This is a very sweet stout. It’s nice and drinkable and has a nice mouth feel coating the tongue.
