A – Poured a viscous midnight black with a 1 finger head that was coffee coloured. It’s extremely black and very thick.
S – Big coffee and espresso bean nose. Chocolate and vanilla scents. Hints of dark fruits and some licorice.
T – Wow okay. I’m not sure where to start. This starts very bittersweet chocolate taste. The sides of my tongue get a big sweet mocha taste. The middle tongue starts to get a big chocolate and espresso bean taste. Dark cheap candies at the finish with some oak and vanilla bean finish.
M – Mild carbonation, heavy body but mostly medium body. It’s not as thick as expected. Sweet raisin chocolate finish.
O – Wow. I’m very impressed. This is not an overpowering stout. It’s a very well balanced stout.
