There is more I’ll be writing about San Francisco. I’m not sure when that will be posted but, while these photos are still fresh in my mind, it’s nice to take just a few minutes to share photos from my trip that concluded just yesterday. From August 23rd – 28th, I was in the bay area spending my birthday week with friends. It was a fantastic time and a trip that I’ll never forget. I took a similar trip that was much shorter to San Francisco in May of 2011. The photos from that trip were far better than the ones I took on this trip. For starters, I shot that entire trip in manual mode on my camera. I also carried a tripod with me and finally, I took more time by myself to take photos of the city. This trip, I was with a group of people at all hours so didn’t take any time to roam aimlessly snapping pictures. This picture was more fulfilling but, the result is far fewer photos that I think are good enough to post here.
I took over 1,200 photos on this trip. Without any more delays, here are a few of my favorite photos from my recent trip. The full photo set of 158 photos is here.
I had an amazing time on this trip. From Monterey to Napa and some time in SF in-between. My favorite moment of the week was picking up a Mercedes sports sedan from Zipcar after leaving dinner at Cotogne. Then, grabbing some champagne and enjoying it with friends on treasure island just 2 hours after turning 26. It was a nice week. I can’t wait to go back to SF. Lovely city. So so great!
