In May, I traveled to Europe again. It was a nice time to see more of an amazing part of our world, to make new friends and meet up with old friends. I also was there for work so had the chance to get a lot of things done with the people I work with on a daily basis. I took a few thousand photos on this trip and, in my ongoing effort to have a record of my experiences, this photo post will be a summary of my favorite moments from the 12 day trip. I’ve divided these moments into City & Country for simplicity.
Amsterdam, Netherlands: First visited October ’10. This is my 4th time in Amsterdam. It’s one of the greatest cities in the world and home to my employer’s main office.
Brussels, Belgium: The capital of Brussels and the largest city in the country.
Gent, Belgium: A large city in Belgium with a very diverse culture and excellent variety of roomy homes, dense and suburban areas and a nice public transit system. It’s also the home of our 2nd largest office and where my team is located.
London, England: I visited London following the work part of my trip. It was a wonderful city and I have to go back to see more of it as soon as possible.
This was a wonderful trip. One Saturday, I was out until 6AM with two English-men. They were each sharing a birthday albeit 10 years apart in age. I love these encounters while traveling. You meet some very interesting people and usually have a wonderful time. Life is certainly one big adventure.
