Acquired in a trade. Poured into a Mikasa Tulip at 48 Degrees F. Enjoyed on a warm Sunday out on my porch while doing Spring Cleaning.

A – Poured a dark reddish brown. SRM of 33 easily. 3 Finger head was produced very creamy and light tan in appearance. Subsided quickly with a nice head lacing left over.

S – Gorgeous smell. Deep dark malts, mahogany, walnuts, toffee and cream soda. I’m getting some charcoal scents as well.

T – Whoa. Yeah, this is delicious. It helps I’m a fan of bocks. Very sweet and explosive tongue tingle from the first sip. Notes of wood, earth and nuts. Mild bitterness akin to drinking a root beer. Mild sweet and hoppy lingering.

M – Medium body. 20% carbonation on the mouth swish. Sticks around for a while

O – Great beer. Solid and drinkable.
