While in Miami for the 2011 edition of Ultra Music Festival, I snapped over 3,000 photos with my Olympus PEN E-PL2. With me, I brought a 20mm f/1.7 pancake lens, a 14-42mm f/3.5 stock zoom lens and a 45-200mm lens for artist photos. On Saturday and Sunday, I had to change batteries around hour 10 which means I got about 700 shots out of a full battery charge which is fantastic for a point & shoot camera.
Here is my curated photo post from that weekend in Miami. You can view the full photoset of 256 photos on Flickr. Thanks to everyone for your comments and feedback on my photography. It’s a pleasure to share these with you. These are my favorite photos in chronological order from Thursday night to Sunday night:
This “photo post” marks the one year anniversary of my photo journalism project where I capture days or weeks as I traven and explore and condense hundreds of photos into less than 50 in an easily scrollable post.
Thank you for the support and kindness. It’s been an honor to entertain and bring smiles to my friends and family trough photography and writing. Have a great week.
