★ Photo Post – New York City, February 2011

Prior to leaving on my trip to India, I spent 4 hours in New York City hanging out with one of my best San Francisco friends, Justin Leung who is now a student at Bard College in upstate New York. I also explored Manhattan just a bit and did a few tourist things. It was nice since this was my first visit to New York City and I finally had the photography skills to capture life in New York even though it was only for a few hours. I took 800 shots and uploaded just over 70. As my friend Jason noted, I must have been running around like a mad man to get so many shots in 4 hours. He’s right. It was worth it though. Photography drives me to explore places and I enjoyed my day in NYC. It would be nice to go back for a 3 day weekend and truly explore the less touristy areas. Here are my favorite photos from a day in New York.
