The E-PL2 was a camera I used throughout many dozens of European and Indian trips from 2010-2014. The PowerShots represent my time in San Francisco and that DX6440 camera was what I owned all 4 years of high school. The others well they\u2019re sparse but you\u2019re probably blown away to see combining iPhones only yields about 10K photos total.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Actually, given what I\u2019ve written in this blog, that shouldn\u2019t be too surprising.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, I purchased a $2.99 Mac App Store application called PhotoStatistica. If you\u2019re an avid photographer, it\u2019s a really good way to map out your life. You can restrict statistics to specific years if you would like or camera models. Basically any data point can be manipulated. Think of it like a huge Microsoft Excel Pivot Table with the magic being that it extracts everything EXIF from your photos over the years and if you choose, you can export the data as one CSV and make your own pivot table so the app itself isn\u2019t really holding your data hostage. It\u2019s magic is that extraction process and what you do with that data is up to you.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing missing is location history. I want to see where I was but more than what Photos for Mac tells me. I want to know more and that is missing from this app. Other than that, it\u2019s a walk down memory lane. I\u2019m not going granular in this blog post and all data below represents my entire photo library. I did extract other data for later use so I can see year over year comparisons.
