It’s been a long time since I’ve written but this is the first day in months that I’ve wrapped up email and to-do lists before it was time to go to bed. I usually work all day, every day of the week and then when I get done with what’s needed of me, I am too exhausted to sit down and publish something. You could say though that I publish constantly these days. 709 emails sent & received in the last week. That’s my life these days. I publish CONSTANTLY. I’m very busy these days and it’s not just that kind of busy where I’m really into a video game or tweeting all day or blogging like I used to do but instead, I’m working and making money and doing what I can to save and build up my career. I thought I’d be on easy-street by now but I’m still at it. Also, you people who claim email bankruptcy? PFFT, when you manage 700 emails in a week (that’s not junk email or spam) and manage to end a day at inbox zero every day, I’ll understand if you want to take a break but seriously, you guys don’t know email volumes. Seriously. I don’t get spam anymore. Every email sent to me is for me and deserves a response and I keep up and am happy to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m in Detroit because my company believes in me. Simple as that. They have found some value in sending me to Detroit 3 times in 5 weeks for management and speaker training and I gladly accepted. They’re investing in me and that is simply thrilling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m not really even ready for a vacation. I’m staying above water, I’m functional, I’m happy and somehow maintaining the hobbies, the commitments and the job(s). Life is good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since my last blog posts, I’ve been taking care of me. The whole shebang. Nutrition, Fitness, Chiropractor, Therapist (CBT if you’re being specific), physical therapy and overall wellness. I’m trying to improve myself so that my skills that are being developed align with myself inside and out. Leading by being confident and happy and healthy myself. Leading by example and all of that. So I’m putting a lot of my fun-money into betterment this year and it feels great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That’s it for this update. 10PM and I have to be up at 6AM for training but it’s good to check in. What’s the use of a blog that isn’t kept fresh? Man, it feels so great to write. I don’t even know who you all are that read this anymore. Write me and let me know your’e still out there? You’ve never been the reason I write this blog but it’s nice to know someone is out there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I need to make a daily blogging commitment. Seriously. It doesn’t effing matter how much I write but just writing something is necessary these days. It won’t always be positive but that’s how blogging used to be for me.
